From Chicago O'Hare International Airport, it's a 30-minute drive into Downtown Chicago. The university is located within the larger South Side neighborhood. Here, you can visit the Kenwood Historic District and get to know the city's roots. It's also where you'll find the Obama House, once the home of the former US president.
At the Magnificent Mile, you'll find every kind of shopping opportunity imaginable. Bloomingdale's and Saks Fifth Avenue are two of the more upscale destinations, and there are plenty of high-end restaurants here too.
This district is well known for its trendy bars, cafés, and amazing Italian restaurants. There are a number of museums here which also showcase Chicago's multicultural side. These include the Polish Museum of America and the Ukrainian National Museum. Be sure to check out the Flatiron Arts Building here, with two floors of art galleries.
Visit this well-to-do neighborhood for Wrigley Field, the stadium that the Chicago Cubs call home. It's also an excellent place for live music venues, including Metro, which specializes in rock performances.
