Trevecca, only a mile from downtown Nashville, places you perfectly for accessing the city's attractions easily. The campus is home to around 3,000 students. Although it's known as "Music City," that's not all Nashville has to offer. Visitors can also see parks, museums, and historic Southern buildings.
Although parking is available on campus, if you're visiting a student, they can apply for a permit on your behalf. The Nashville city buses may be the best way to get around – buses 15 and 55 from downtown take you to Murfreesboro Road, adjacent to campus.
Even if you're not into country music, a night out at the Grand Ole Opry is a Nashville tradition. There are performances most nights, each showcasing a mix of new and established acts. Even if you can't get tickets for a show, you could always stop in to pick up some Nashville souvenirs.
The historic Belle Meade estate is now home to one of Nashville's most interesting museums. Join a guided tour of the mansion before wandering the grounds at your own pace. Don't miss the onsite winery, which offers complimentary tastings.
The huge Lane Motor Museum has America's largest collection of European cars and motorcycles. Gape at the collection of weird and wonderful prototype vehicles that never made it to full production.
