In the capital, enjoy excellent shopping and dining options. Hercegovačka is one local hotspot, a pedestrianised street in the city center. You can also explore the city’s unique Old Turkish Town, with a range of sights including mosques and idyllic parks with bridges and waterways.
Many visitors to Montenegro also head to the Budva Riviera, just an hour’s drive from the capital. Highlights here include the Bay of Kotor, a medieval town with historic interest in addition to its fantastic beach.
As well as the Riviera in general, the town of Budva itself is an idyllic setting with a distinctive Southern European flair. Its central street includes a lively nightlife spot or more relaxed experiences at the cafés and restaurants lining the bay.
